SCRAS Project Stakeholders Review Progress as Current Phase Nears Completion

March 30, 2026  ·  Livelihood & Agriculture

The Livelihood and Agriculture Programme of NABOCADO convened a stakeholder review meeting for the Strengthening of Smallholder Farmers' Resilience towards a Changing Climate (SCRAS) Project, funded by Misereor, as the current phase of the initiative nears completion.

Farmers, Animators, District and Regional Agric Officers, and partner Assemblies joined the session to review progress, celebrate achievements and reflect on challenges. Discussions also centred on NABOCADO's transition from sustainable agriculture toward a stronger emphasis on agro-ecology and organic farming.

Participants shared valuable experiences and practical ideas to support this shift.

Executive Director Dr. Joseph Bangu thanked stakeholders for their commitment and also highlighted emerging funding challenges and how they may affect community climate adaptation efforts.
