NABOCADO’s Education Programme works to promote inclusive, equitable and quality education for children and young people, particularly those in vulnerable and underserved communities.
We work through the Catholic schools of the Diocese of Navrongo-Bolgatanga, reaching children where they already learn. Our education work is built into the rest of NABOCADO’s programmes: water and sanitation in schools supports our health work, and School Peace Clubs feed into the parish Justice and Peace Committees.
What we deliver
- Water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) programmes in schools
- School Peace Clubs for conflict resolution
- Support for girls’ education, including the KAYAPORT Project with CRS Ghana
- Technical and vocational training (TVET) for young people, through partnerships with training institutions
- Complementary basic education for marginalised children
