At the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) Upper East Region Awards 2026, NABOCADO, as sponsor of the category, was honoured to present the Peacebuilding and Conflict-Sensitive Reporting Award, recognising journalism that contributes to peace and responsible reporting in conflict-sensitive contexts.
The award was won by Daily Graphic's Gilbert Tiroog.
As an organisation committed to peacebuilding, conflict prevention and social cohesion, NABOCADO is proud to support a category that recognises the important role of the media in promoting peace and responsible public discourse.
NABOCADO congratulates Gilbert and all the winners at this year's ceremony, and urges other journalists to dedicate time in their work to peacebuilding and conflict prevention.
