It was the turn of Queen Mothers in the Upper East Region in our ongoing engagement series with stakeholders under the Integrated Peacebuilding for Improved Food and Nutrition Support (INPEACE) project, funded by Misereor.
While discussions on documentation of the role, enskinment procedures and succession of Queen Mothers in Northern Ghana progress slowly, the Good Governance, Justice and Peace Directorate of NABOCADO recognizes the huge responsibility of Queen Mothers in our traditional administration in keeping society safe and peaceful, hence the goal of the INPEACE project.
