Thanks to our work with the Zuarungu Moshie Women group under the ‘Women Empowerment through Indigenous Food Systems’ initiative, the Dinoma Festival, established 15 years ago, won the prestigious Sustainability Award at the Caritas Europa Innovation Festival 2024.
Dominic Avea, Director of Livelihood and Advocacy at NABOCADO, who delivered a presentation at the competition, met with the group to present their trophy and discuss plans moving forward.
The Dinoma Festival aims to promote food sovereignty, boost women's innovation capacities, and document and promote indigenous food for sustainable development.
Congratulations to our women; we look forward to further successes.
